Amelia Rohrig, PMHNP
Personalized mental health treatment offered in-person in Eugene or via telehealth throughout the state of Oregon
Seeking help can be one of the most important decisions you make, and finding the right provider is an essential part of that process. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood.
I work with teens and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, ADHD, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and burnout. I believe that every person’s story is unique, which is why I take the time to understand your experiences, concerns, strengths, and goals before developing a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with genuine compassion and collaboration. Whether medication management, psychotherapy, or a combination of both is appropriate, I will work closely with you to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward the life you want to live.
Many people come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about where to begin. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Together, we can identify what is getting in the way of your well-being and create a path forward.
If you're ready to take the next step—or simply want to learn more about how I can help—I invite you to contact me. I would be honored to be part of your journey toward better mental health and a more fulfilling life.
About Me
Services
The initial appointment will be used to explore your history, symptoms, and goals. I aim to be comprehensive and thorough in my approach. In some cases, additional evaluation appointments may be necessary. I may order labs and/or genetic testing to provide us with more information as applicable.
Psychiatric Evaluation
Medication management includes helping you make an informed decision about your treatment options, which may include initiating, continuing, or discontinuing medications. If medications are prescribed, follow-up appointments will be scheduled to monitor effects, both positive and negative. I provide extensive education about medications as I believe that individuals should be empowered in their decisions.
Medication Management
I will often integrate psychotherapy into our appointments. This psychotherapy includes motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and psychoeducation.
